The Reindeer Grove was born in 1980 as the rowdy Old Tyme Saloon and still holds much of the rustic and eccentric decor of that era. The centerpiece is the Sistine Chapel of Alaska mural that adorns the ceiling of the central gathering space that was painted by a local bar partron for free beer in the 80’s. Since those early days, the property has taken on a more peaceful expression, particularly with the addition of our beautiful reindeer that grace our farmstead. There’s something for everyone in this alluring place, whether you’re hosting or attending an event, taking a tour and learning all about our reindeer and the boreal forest, or just sipping on a cup of coffee and taking in the tranquility of the property.
